What happened to the deaths of swine flu?

If I remember correctly, is not the number of deaths from the influenza virus in Mexico, something like 176 people? Now the number of deaths is less than half that amount, what happened? There's something going on in the background that should be opened?

swine flu cover these strikes.

The official explanation for this discrepancy is not unusual that the first reports were only suspected cases. But what made these suspected cases, in the first place? These 176 Mexican unlucky die of respiratory disease or not? Apparently, Mexico does not have the facilities to isolate and confirm cases of swine flu itself. Samples should be examined by the United States and certified to be sent.

In those circumstances, how could this have caused a sensation more than anything that was not real time? the media have advantages swine flu train was not on the figures confirmed that someone?

L 'Media sold us the idea of the 176 died of swine flu, as a matter of fact. There were so many deaths that seemed to happen so quickly. From what has been written, it seemed that we were on the eve of a killer pandemic. It 'was very palpable fear in the air as daily reports of new deaths that broke the disease were related. During the first cases of swine flu cover its mortality rate of infection was comparable to that of AI (which had aThe mortality of about 50%).

Things have to be defined, but there is a lesson to be learned here? If such a panic admitted in media? We must tell the facts more honest, no frills and without omissions. The emphasis should be on the fact that information has not been checked. It could have been even smarter if the media not to speculate on the number of deaths at all and we just told the truth.
