The problems you might face, as the owner of Ferret - Health Related Part 1

Ferrets are wonderful little animals. Like all other living creatures, ferrets but succumb to their share of health problems. This is the first in a series of what you're looking for.

Colds and flu

These are one of the few creatures that can pass the flu, cold and sometimes we can from them. Just like humans, ferrets are more likely to develop colds, the immune system when they are weak and stressed. (There is much debate as to whetheror can not catch a cold virus. scientific documentation is lacking. Symptoms include:

What should I do if my ferret gets a cold?

Consider a quarantine

If you have more than one ferret, consider quarantine of sick ferrets. Keep them in a separate room in a cage separate and distinct seasons. If youonly two ferrets that are not realistic, perhaps because the isolated ferret might get depressed.

You can pretty much take care of us to take your fuzzy cold in the same way, keeping the cold would be just.
